RUPTURA Journal of the Law School Association of the Faculty of Jurisprudence of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, was born from the student initiative of the active members of the AED. This space for debate, criticism and development of legal techniques is more than 70 years old. Its emphasis is the field of law (understood "prima facie" in a theoretical sense) and its relationship with other disciplines, knowledge and sciences.
The proposal is within the framework of PUCE's mission, and seeks to contribute in a rigorous and critical way, to the protection and development of the rule of law, human dignity and cultural heritage, through research, teaching and various services offered to local, national and international communities.

Nosotros, los estudiantes de la Facultad de Derecho de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, en conmemoración del septuagésimo quinto aniversario de la creación de la Revista RUPTURA, presentamos ante nuestro público el siguiente volumen.
Este número conmemora no solo nuestra compromiso ante el público de entregar un fascículo que sirva como espacio que sirva como espacio del debate crítico y de reflexión jurídica, sino también el esfuerzo que 75 generaciones de estudiantes de nuestro glorioso Colegio de Abogados han realizado para asegurar la preservación de este patrimonio de nuestra facultas y nuestra Universidad.
